Company History

Retaining Wall Industries (Civil) Pty Ltd was founded in 1984 by John Rowland.

Previously being called "The Walling Factory Pty Ltd" the company sought a need to change its name in 1994 after public confusion as to our services. Thus the new name was born, obviously being job specific.

The Company was the first firm to offer the public a booklet dealing with all aspects of retaining walls entitled Retaining Walls "The Answers".

The booklet offered an unbiased look at Engineering requirements, Council regulations, Material selection and more importantly explained the need for care in the selection and construction process based on the client’s individual needs & circumstances.

Since then our new booklet "Retaining Walls Made Easy" was compiled and offered to the public in 1998.

Since its launch over 4000 have already been requested by Builders, Homeowners, Engineer's & Councils alike all with the same requirement to make ease of the retaining wall maze.

Since inception, the Company has continued to abide by its commitment to customer service and support.
