The author of this website seeks to treat Aboriginal people and their customs and beliefs with respect.
The purpose of this part of the 'Ground Truth' website is to create an opportunity for greater community understanding of the diversity of Aboriginal culture, and their history and connection with the land, by organising bibliographies with a regional basis.
The file below represents an early attempt to gather and classify some readily-available books and other publications. The regional classification used is based on that of the system of Statistical Divisions, as defined by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, which is used elsewhere in this website to organise material by Local Government Region.
In future, this section will be re-organised with a more appropriate regional classification system. I welcome input from Aboriginal people on how this section may be further developed.
