Information for Visitors.
The
Australian Fuchsia Society, based in Adelaide, South Australia,
has provided this basic site to serve the needs of fuchsia loving
folk, not only in our great country, but worldwide. Despite the
difficult growing conditions (high temperatures and at times drought)
and the vast distances, the AFS has provided a service to its members
and staged Annual Shows for over 37
years.
In
welcoming you to our site, we hope that you will enjoy the Photo
Galleries and gain from the information provided. Light on
gimmicks such as revolving text, etc., we hope that you'll find
our site simple and user friendly.
Very
much appreciated are comments placed in the "Guest book*. However,
when these take the form of requests for information, a team of
AFS experts will do their best to provide answers. Articles for
the Journal are welcomed from interstate and overseas, even more
so if they are accompanied by photographs of cultivation methods/fuchsias.

convenient downloadable Membership
Application Form is also available which
enables fuchsia lovers worldwide to become members of the AFS and
at a very moderate cost, receive quarterly issues of a 28 page booklet
on fuchsia cultivation. A reduced resolution electronic sample of
the Journal can be accessed on this site.
