| Jenelle & Matt have been
going through the very painful process of building their house - actually it
hasn't been that bad! the stage where you have to choose your bathrooms,
fittings, paint colour, kitchen colours etc in one day isn't very funny but
we've been really impressed how quickly the rest has all been happening. The
house went into construction three weeks ago and we now own a slab, plumbing
and wall frames. The bricks have been delivered and we're worried that they'll
be finished before we're ready!
Jenelle is getting used to working after five years of study and is enjoying the massive learning curve. She is also getting used to the lawyer jokes being made! Matt is studying, studying, studying. He's probably written over twenty thousand words this semester and is wondering when it will all end! Next year he starts all his practical which he is really looking forward to. The band has had a bit of a break with Peter Riggs and his wife Rachel taking a term off to travel to Canada, but the rest of this year will be keeping us all busy. We're off to Brisbane for the National Youth Convention and Christian Music Festival in January and should arrive home in just enough time to see our house being finished! We hope Everyone is well and enjoying the warm weather –finally. |
