The Church of God (Seventh Day) traces its journey over some 150 years, when a small group of faithful believers began to preach Jesus' second coming.

Since then, the Church of God has grown into a worldwide community, with 200,000 members in over 100 countries. In Australia church life was formalised into a general conference in the 1980s, and Australia is one of the founding delegates of the International Ministerial Congress.

Church life and vision is characterised by a genuine willingness to follow the lead of Jesus, and change and grow as Biblical spiritual understanding deepens.
